Delores was born March 13, 1938 to Floyd and Salma Russell in Dayton Washington. She was the youngest of six children. She was educated in Dayton where she made her home her entire life. Delores married Mike Thompson on October 28, 1956. They farmed the family acreage outside of Dayton. They had three children: Linda, Donald and Michele. Her life was busy with cooking for a large harvest crew, raising three children and being a blue bird leader and a Cub Scout leader. Mike passed away August 13, 1974.
