Main Street wouldn't look the same were it not for the outstanding efforts of Pacific Power Lineman Doug Hinds. Hinds has been busy wrapping the lamp posts on Dayton's Main Street with LED light strings. He said he will soon begin placing the Christmas banners on the lamp posts, and he will trim the Christmas tree in front of Elk Drug with lights for Christmas Kickoff, and the Christmas season. He will also help Dayton Elementary School kids hang Christmas decorations on the tree.
