Dear Editor,

I am writing to urge voters in Columbia County to support Dain Nysoe in the race for county commissioner (District 3). I met Dain and his wife shortly after we moved here 10 years ago. I know him to be a man of honesty and utmost integrity.

Dain has deep roots in this community and his family farming experience puts him in a position to understand and support the needs of our local farmers. He also has life experiences outside the area, including military service and multiple positions of leadership in other communities. He showed himself to be a skilled problem solver.

I believe Dain is deeply committed to the betterment of our county. He will bring fresh ideas while embracing what is traditional and wonderful about our county. To me, that is what serving in local government is all about. We could not ask for a better man to serve on our behalf.

Next month, we have the opportunity to elect a man who will represent all of us and will not let us down. Please vote for Dain .
