The Department is using the optional threshold determination process under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) authorized by WAC 197-11-355. The application comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal. A copy of the SEPA determination on the proposal may be obtained upon request. ORDINANCE SUMMARY

Pursuant to RCW 35A .12.160, the Council of the City of Prescott hereby

approves for publication the following Ordinance Summary:

1. The name of the City is the City of Prescott, Washington.

2. The Ordinance summarized is Ordinance o. 2018-08, adopted by the Council of the City of Prescott on August 13, 2018.

3. The Ordinance adopts the City of Prescott’s Shoreline Master Program (“Shoreline Master Program’’) and amends the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Development Standards to include the Shoreline Master Program.

4. The Ordinance is summarized as follows:

a. The Ordinance is divided into four (4) sections.

b. Section I adopts the Shoreline Master Program.

c. Section 2 amends Ordinance 402, adopting a Comprehensive Plan and Technical Report, to include and incorporate the Shoreline Master Program.

d. Section 3 amends Ordinance 403, adopting Development

Standards, to include and incorporate the Shoreline Master Program.

e. Section 4 states that the Ordinance shall take effect five days after its passage, approval, and publication.

5. A copy of the entire Ordinance will be mailed upon request or may be examined at City Hall.
