Dayton Students to Speak About Service Project

DAYTON—Earlier this month, five young people from Dayton’s United Methodist and First Congregation Churches traveled to Wellpinit, Wash. to volunteer with Sierra Service Project.

As part of a larger group of volunteers, Jacob Holmberg, Justin Jaech, Melany Lane, Sarah Shutters and Genesee Smith worked on home improvements under the direction of the Spokane Housing Authority, while learning about the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
