Waitsburg High School Student Representative Leena Baker, who will finish out her school-year term on city council, said she is proud of the way the council interacts with the community and helps the people of the city while working within a small-town budget.

“I really appreciate the connection between council members and the citizens. I am honored to serve on the council as the student representative. This is a wonderful opportunity that Waitsburg offers,” Baker said.
