WAITSBURG – The Waitsburg Commercial will host a candidate forum for local and legislative races on Thurs., June 9, at 10 a.m. at The Q Wood Fired Grill (137 Main, Waitsburg). Community members are welcome; RSVP not needed.

Melissa Farley Hansen (R) and Randall Son (D) have confirmed attendance. Both are running for the Walla Walla County Commissioner District 2 seat currently held by Perry Dozier, who is not seeking reelection. District 2 encompasses the eastern portion of the county including Waitsburg, Prescott, and portions of Walla Walla County.

Legislative District 16 position candidate Skyler Rude (R), will also be in attendance.
