John Mason is Booster of the Year

Nick Page

John Mason was named Booster of the Year at Waitsburg's Senior Night at last Friday's basketball games. "John has given enthusiastically of his time and resources helping the students of Waitsburg. Over the last three decades, John has served as volunteer youth coach, volunteered with the high school basketball and baseball programs, ran open gym, helped with pee wee basketball, served as high school basketball coach, worked on the football chain crew during varsity and junior varsity games, and most recently he began operating the scoreboard for high school football games, once again providing his services as a volunteer for the high school basketball team. On most game nights you will find John and his wife Terrie rooting on the local teams. Based on his service to the kids of our community, this designation is a long time coming," said Booster Club President Ross Hamann.
