Extension Director Paul Carter Receives Distinguished Service Award

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Paul Carter, WSU Columbia County Extension Director, received special recognition from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA) at its Annual Meeting in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Aug. 2. Carter received NACAA's Distinguished Service Award for the work he has done during his 13 years of service as a Washington State University Extension Educator in Columbia County. He is also Extension Regional Specialist in Soils, Crops and Precision Agriculture and holds the rank of Associate Professor with WSU.

Carter was one of 62 extension educators in the U.S. who received the award this year. He was the only recipient from Washington.
