PROBATE NOTICE TO CREDITORS

The Personal Representative named below has been appointed as Personal Representative of this estate. Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Personal Representative or the Personal Representative’s attorney stated below a copy of the claim and filing of the original of the claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced. The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) Thirty days after the Personal Representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020(1)(c); or (2) four months after the date of first publication of the notice.

If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and 11.40.060. This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent’s probate and nonprobate assets.

Request for Qualifications

Columbia County is seeking qualified consultants to develop Comprehensive Plans and associated development regulations for Columbia County, City of Dayton and Town of Starbuck. The consultant will update applicable documents, bringing them into compliance with State requirements.

He/she shall work closely with each jurisdiction to review existing documents, meet with the public and Planning Commissions, draft and propose updates and revisions, attend public hearings, and file necessary submittals with the State. Documents must comply with state laws (GMA; RCW 36.70A) and must be approved by the Dept. of Commerce.

Upon selection, the Planning Dept. will negotiate a contract and finalize scope of services and budget. The consultant will begin in August 2018 with a required completion date of Comprehensive Plan updates of June 30th, 2019.

Interested consultants may submit a Statement of Qualification (SOQ) by 4:30 p.m. on Fri., June 29th, 2018, via mail, email or hand delivery to: Meagan Bailey, Planning Director Columbia County Planning and Building, 114 South 2nd Street, Dayton, Washington 99328. Meagan_bailey@co.columbia.wa.us

The proposal shall include: consultant qualifications, a list of similar projects completed in the last five years, a general response to the project description, a listing of project team members and qualifications, a list of references with contact info and a proposal for project completion.
