Columbia County hereby gives notice that an application has been received and found complete for the above project. Comments relative to the approval and conditioning of this application and the environmental threshold determination noted below are requested. Approval of this application is pending a scheduled hearing with the Columbia County Hearing Examiner, to be scheduled and duly advertised at a later date. This Notice will be published in the newspaper of record and distributed to surrounding property owners.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Being a request to operate under an I-502 Marijuana License to grow, dry, cure, trim, and package cannabis flower for transportation off site for retail sale. The application illustrates using the existing structures for the operation, as well as fencing a 150’ X 100’ outdoor grow field. The applicant has noted the installation of cameras, security lights, and other applicable requirements per WAC 314-55-083. The application notes hours of operation from 5AM – 7PM daily.

DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS): Columbia County is lead agency for this project. The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW Chapter 43.21C. This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public for review. Public comment period is open for 14 days, and will close on May 31st, 2018.
