DAYTON – Southeast Washington Aging and Long-Term care is offering workshops on care for dementia patients at the Columbia County Senior Center on May 1 and 2.

Topics will include understanding and recognizing the differences between “normal” and “not normal” aging, conditions that sometimes mimic dementia, and warning signs and practical tips for working with people living with dementia. Resources will be made available.

The May 1 session will be from 2 to 6 p.m. The same information will be presented again on May 2, from 8 a.m. until noon
