The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

There are a bunch of wonderful people working hard to bring our annual celebration to our great, One-of-a-Kind, little city. That event is Waitsburg Celebration Days and it is being planned for the weekend of May 18, 19 and 20.

So far, our community has responded very well to helping make this weekend really special. The Parade will once again be held on Armed Forces Day, and so the theme will be “Celebrate Waitsburg, the American Way”.

As Waitsburg citizens are wonderful volunteers, we (The Parade Committee) are seeking nominations of a very special person/couple to honor as our Parade Marshal. Please take a moment and consider someone who has greatly contributed to the Waitsburg community. Please write up a brief nomination for that person and mail it to the Waitsburg Celebration Days Parade Committee. The firm Deadline for this is April 9, 2018.

If you are interested in helping the WCD Board of Directors with this weekend, feel free to attend our next meeting on April 16th at the Waitsburg Business Center at 7 PM.
