The Times - Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

In last week’s issue on Waitsburg’s Community meeting about the proposed Dayton-Waitsburg combine, The Times quoted a Dayton resident who said that 60 Dayton students had signed a petition opposing the combine and submitted it to Dayton athletic director and high school principal Paul Shaber.

The Times later received an email from Dayton School District Superintendent Doug Johnson stating that neither he nor Shaber received such a petition, nor were they aware of one.
