65° and snowy?

A Facebook post from Ski Bluewood boasting 17" of snow at the lodge after Saturday's snow in the mountains had (l to r) Joe LaRue, Brayden Wood, and Cason Nichols itching to hit the rails. The boys made a quick trip to the mountains where they loaded a pickup with snow and brought it back to Nichols' at-home sno-park. They should have no excuse for being out of practice when the season opens. The final day of Ski Bluewood's season pass sale is Oct. 31 and they will hold their annual job fair on Nov. 4 from 4-6 p.m. at the Columbia County Fairgrounds Youth Building.
