Dayton Girls Fall to WWVA, Sweep L-C
Bulldogs fight hard in five-set game against WWVA

COLLEGE PLACE – The Dayton Volleyball team fought a hard match here on Sept. 26, but fell to Walla Walla Valley Academy in five sets, 21-25, 25-16, 25-17, 22-25, 14-16.
The Lady Bulldogs struggled at the start of the match, dropping the first set before winning the next two sets convincingly. After WWVA evened things up by winning the fourth set, Dayton came within a point of sealing the match in the final set, taking a 14-11 lead. But they couldn’t hold on, as WWVA won the next five points to take the match.
Hannah Becker had four aces on 23-of-25 serving. She also had eight blocks and...
