Non-league opponent runs away with a 49-6 win in season-opening game at Waitsburg
WAITSBURG – Lack of playing experience showed for the Dayton-Waitsburg football team as they fell hard to Mac-Hi here Friday night, 49-6.
The Pioneers built a 35-0 lead in the first half, and DW was unable to get on the board until their lone TD late in the third quarter.
On that play, quarterback Brayden Miller hit receiver Chris Andrews on a 29-yard passing play.
