DAYTON - The Friends of the Dayton Memorial Library are sponsoring a star viewing party at the Blue Mountain Station, at 700 Artisan Way, in Dayton, on July 21.

Guest speakers include; Marty Scott, Astronomy Instructor at Walla Walla College, Jeff Kissel, Controls Engineer at LIGO/Hanford, and members of the Tri-Cities Astronomy Club.

The Astronomy Club will provide telescopes for viewing, but amateur astronomers may bring their own.

Dinner will be provided by the Dayton Kiwanis Club at 6:30 p.m., and is free to the public, with the program to follow.
