Jams in July Class

 


DAYTON – The Blue Mountain Station will host the second of three educational classes in their canning series on Sun., July 30 from 1-3 p.m. The class will cover the principles of preparing and canning jams to ensure quality and food safety.

Participants will go home with a jar of freshly canned jam, printed educational materials, and the knowledge of how to prepare healthier, lower sugar jams. Jennifer Kleffner, owner of Miles Away Farm, will facilitate the class.
