Arraignments:

Michael J. Clark, 32, Cheney; Charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving with license suspended, third degree. Clark was pulled over while driving on Highway 12 and a registration check showed he had a suspended license. The arresting officer allegedly found Clark in possession of a bag with white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine. Clark entered a plea of not guilty. Bail was set at $10,000 personal recognizance bond.

Darrel Jean Salgado, 22, Dayton. Charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia not used for marijuana in an incident occurring March 4 and charged with intent to deliver methamphetamine, third degree assault, resisting arrest, use of drug paraphernalia, and three counts of possession of legend (prescription) drugs in an incident occurring March 13. Salgado entered a plea of not guilty and bail was set at $100,000.


Joshua Brownell Wilson, 22, Dayton; Charged with assault in the second degree – intention to cause bodily harm and assault in the fourth degree – domestic violence. A doctor at Dayton General Hospital notified police after the victim arrived with injuries he claimed he received from a family member during an altercation on Marh 18. He entered a plea of not guilty. Bail was set at a $20,000 appearance bond. Trial setting is slated for June 21.

Derrick McCuaig, 32, Dayton; charged with theft of a firearm. Charges stem from an instance in April when a family member discovered his firearm missing and reported it out of concern for McCuaig’s safety. McCuaig failed to appear for his first appearance and a bench warrant was issued. Bail is set at $20,000.


Stephen Eugene Stubblefield, 52, Dayton; Charged with harassment and fourth degree assault. Charges stem from an incident that occurred May 3. Stubblefield is said to have threatened to shoot the owner of a nearby business, in front of his employees. Stubblefield was allegedly angry because the other business had been parking vehicles in front of his business. The case was continued to June 21 and bail was set at a $20,000 unsecured appearance bond.

Magdiel Hernandez DeLaCruze, 36, Dayton; Charged with residential burglary. The victim claims that she was assaulted and her phone was taken. Case continued to June 21 for arraignment and bail was set at $20,000 unsecured appearance bond.


Michelle Martinez, 39, Dayton; charged with residential burglary. Martinez is an alleged accomplice in the case above. She reportedly hit the victim and called her an ethnic slur. Martinez entered a plea of not guilty. Bail was set at $20,000 unsecured appearance bond.

Lonnie Lee Montoya, 35, Dixie; charged with theft of a motor vehicle. Reports allege that, on May 9, Montoya pulled his Ford Tempo into the driveway of an elderly woman who lives on Highway 12, and claimed that he was out of gas. He asked to borrow her Ford Taurus to drive to Waitsburg for gas. When he was still gone two hours later, the victim’s caregiver called to report the vehicle missing. When police arrived, a woman was at the scene and said Montoya had called her, saying he was in Dayton, and asked her to pick up the Ford Tempo. The case was continued to June 21 for arraignment. Montoya is also facing charges of attempting to elude a police vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license – third degree for an incident that occurred March. 20. That case was also continued to June 21.


George Lee Hilton, 20, Dayton; charged with rape of a child in the second degree. Hilton is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a minor age 12 or younger. Hilton did not appear and the case was continued to June 21.

Robert George Fitzpatrick; charged with assault in the second degree – strangulation. Reports allege that the victim approached a WDFW officer at the Wooten Wildlife Area Building and said that, while camping, he had been grabbed by the throat and pushed against a car. He allegedly grabbed the victim’s girlfriend and pushed her away when she attempted to stop the fight. Fitzpatrick entered a plea of not guilty. Bail was set at $50,000 unsecured personal recognizance bond and trail setting is slated for June 21.
