Jacob Dunn in Running for National Exchange Club Youth of the Year

WAITSBURG – WHS senior Jacob Dunn was named 2016-17 Walla Walla Exchange Club Youth of the Year male recipient, receiving $1,000 towards his higher education. He also won the Exchange Club Northwest District Youth of the Year award and an additional $1,500 toward college expenses.
This year's theme was "Inspiring Communities to become a Better Place." Participants were selected based on their theme-related essays, documented school activities, volunteer efforts, and academic achievement. Dunn is now in the running for the National Exchange Club Youth of the Year competition.
Dunn and fellow WHS senior Taylor Hays were selected as Walla Walla Exchange Club Youths of the Month in January.
