MILTON-FREEWATER – Modern Western Square Dance Lessons and Ballroom Dance Lessons both begin on March 5 at the Milton-Freewater Community Building located at 109 NE Fifth Street.

Modern Western Square dance is good for the body, mind, and soul! It’s also great low-impact exercise and a good way to meet new friends. It is also the state dance for Washington and Oregon.

Lessons are presented by the Muddy Frogs Square Dance Club with Bill and Neva Reid of Wallowa, Ore. instructing. Lessons are from 2-3:0 p.m. on Sundays. If you have a partner, bring them along. If not, come and enjoy the fun. Everyone is welcome.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn ballroom dance, this is your chance. No experience is needed and dress is casual. (Smooth soled shoes are best for dancing.) Bill and Neva Reid, will also be teaching the Social Ballroom Dance lessons which are from 3:45 – 5 p.m. each Sunday, beginning March 5.
