Home Grown Go Wild 4-H group leader Cindy Daves puts the finishing touches on a window display created by her club members in the Ten Ton Press building on Waitsburg's Main Street. The display is in recognition of National 4-H Week which is the first full week in October and will be judged against competing displays in Walla Walla.

Home Grown Go Wild 4-H group leader Cindy Daves puts the finishing touches on a window display created by her club members in the Ten Ton Press building on Waitsburg's Main Street. The display is in recognition of National 4-H Week which is the first full week in October and will be judged against competing displays in Walla Walla.

Daves said her group does "a little bit of everything" including canning, baking, art, rocketry and science. Several other Waitsburg 4-H groups focus on raising animals including: Swine Swaggers, Corral Wranglers, and the Pen Pals.
