Dayton's Cal Martin qualified for state with a second place in the javelin in the regional meet last weekend.
SPOKANE VALLEY - Local athletes had to deal with less than ideal conditions at Central Valley High School as they competed for spots in the State 2B Track & Field Championships. Waitsburg continued its strong season by sending nine of their eleven participating athletes on from regionals. Dayton also had three of their own qualify for the last meet of the season in Cheney.
