Tigers Beat Riverside, 11-1
Gradwohl, Dunn hold Pirates to two hits on April 26
PRESCOTT – Kyle Gradwohl and Jacob Dunn pitched a combined two-hitter against Riverside on April 26, as the Prescott Tigers downed the Pirates 11-1 in a shortened six-inning game.
The Pirates got their lone run in the top of the first inning, and held the Tigers scoreless until bottom of the fourth. A five-run fourth and four-run fifth sealed the deal for the Pirates. Their two runs in the sixth inning ended the game on the mercy rule.
The two pitchers had multiple hits in the game. Dunn pounded out four hits, including a two-RBI triple in the fifth inning. Gradwohl had three hits, including a two-RBI double in the fourth.
Tyler Hoffman and Tyler Fedderson also connected twice for the Tigers.
