Dayton Girls Fall to St. George's, 38-30

Lady Bulldogs will play Lind-Ritzville-Sprague Friday afternoon in Spokane

DAYTON – In a low-scoring defensive battle, the Dayton girls' basketball team fell to the St. George's Dragons Monday afternoon, 38-30. Despite the loss, the Lady Bulldogs are guaranteed to play twice this weekend.

On Friday at 3:15, Dayton will face Lind-Ritzville-Sprague at Mead High School in Spokane. Win or lose, they will play again Saturday at Mead.

On Monday, the Lady 'Dogs played evenly with the Dragons in the first half. With less than a minute to play before the break, the score was tied at 18. A four-point run by St. Georges in the final minute of the half, put them up 22-18.
