Waitsburg, Dayton, Prescott M&O Levies Pass

Dayton Capital levy passing, while Waitsburg bond levy trailing

 


Voters in the Waitsburg, Dayton and Prescott approved the M&O levies, according to preliminary results released Tuesday.

The Dayton Capital Improvement Levy was also passing, while the Waitsburg bond levy, which needed 60% approval, was failing.

Since the results were announced just as The Times was going to press Tuesday night, we will will have further coverage of the levy stories in our Feb. 18 issue.

Waitsburg M&O Levy

Proposition 1: Replacement Maintenance and Operations Levy

yes -318 (68.2%) No - 148 (31.8%)

Dayton M&O Levy

Proposition 1: Replacement Maintenance and Operations Levy

yes -842 (63.3%) No - 488 (36.7%)

Prescott M&O Levy

Proposition 1: Replacement Maintenance and Operations Levy

yes -120 (68.2%) No - 56 (31.8%)

Waitsburg Bond Levy

Proposition 2: Bonds to Improve, Upgrade Waitsburg School Facilities (60% yes to pass)

yes -259 (55.8%) No - 205 (44.2%)

Dayton Capital Levy

Proposition 2: Capital Levy for Technology, Safety, Security and Efficiency Improvements

yes -847 (63.8%) No - 480 (36.2%)
