A light dusting of snow on Monday did not dampen the spirits of Waitsburg's founding fathers as they made their way along the sidewalk in downtown Waitsburg in front of The Times' office. This sculpture, created by Walla Walla artilst Jeffrey Hill. portrays William Preston, Sylvester Wait, and William Bruce moving sacks of wheat flower from Waits' flour mill to market.
