WAITSBURG – Whether you want to give or receive, the due date to participate in Waitsburg’s annual Christmas basket program is quickly approaching. The deadline for filling out a donor or recipient card is Monday, Nov. 30.

Families, groups, individuals, or businesses who wish to provide a Christmas basket to a Waitsburg family must fill out a donor card. Those wishing to receive a basket, or are aware of a family in need, should fill out a recipient card.

The cards are available at the Waitsburg Presbyterian, Christian and Catholic churches, and the Waitsburg Hardware Store.

Donors may choose the size of the family they wish to provide for and will receive detailed instructions on how to deliver the baskets as well as a minimum essentials list. Donors are welcome to include items above and beyond the list. Donors will be matched and receive their information on or around Dec. 3 and will have until Dec. 18 to deliver their baskets.
