Dayton

Sept. 27

Suspicious vehicle reported in 100 block of N. 1st; Deputy contacted male sleeping in a vehicle next to a building. Individual moved off private property. Reporting party heard two gunshots, then saw a silver pickup head up Hatley Gulch. Caller reported the area is posted “no hunting.” Deputy was unable to locate vehicle. Report of vehicle egged on 1400 block of S. 2nd. Tiffany Dame, 29, Dayton was arrested on an out of county warrant. Report of vehicle egged on 400 block of S. 2nd.

Sept. 28

Juan Villegas-Vilchiz, 22, Walla Walla, struck a guard rail on Hwy. 12. Vehicle was towed from scene and individual was cited for negligent driving. Report of possible fight in 200 block of S. 1st. Argument was verbal only and deputies de-escalated the situation. Caller reported a dispute with Corp. of Engineer Ranger over the use of a generator at Texas Rapids. Situation was resolved by deputy contact. Patrick McManamon, 36, Dayton, was arrested on two out-of-county felony warrants. IRS fraud call reported on 1400 block of S. 4th. Report of couple arguing on 700 block of E. Dayton Ave. Argument was verbal and was settled by deputy contact. Report of silver passenger car driving erratically. Deputy located and followed vehicle, but did not observe any erratic behavior.

Sept. 29

Report of unwanted person at residence on 700 block of E. Dayton Ave. Person was gone when deputy arrived. Report of someone near MP 1 of Rogers Gulch, spotlighting. Deputy was unable to locate.

Sept. 30

Report of check fraud on 500 block of W. Main. Deputy cleared with report.

Oct. 1

Report of vehicle prowl on 200 block of N. 5th. Caller saw a person wearing a black hoodie and sweat pants try their car door, which was locked. Deputy was unable to locate individual.

Oct. 2

Report of suspicious male on property at 700 block of Stockton Road. Deputy contacted male who was there with permission of the owner.

Oct. 3

Trespass on Whetstone Road. Caller reported a black SUV trespassing on property. While deputy was on the way caller called back to cancel the call. Justin Stone, 31, Dayton, was arrested for out-of-county warrant. April Miller, 36, Dayton, was arrested at the same time on an out-of-county warrant. Caller reported a white passenger car spinning “brodies” in the gravel parking area on Seneca Way. Vehicle was gone when deputies arrives.
