Feelin' Groovy at Foodstock

Dian Ver Valen

Dayton resident Alicia Walker helps her 5-year-old daughter, Audrey Walker, tie dye a t-shirt at their booth during Saturday's Foodstock 2015 festival at the Blue Mountain Station just west of Dayton on Highway 12. Alicia Walker is president of the Blue Mountain Station co-op market board. Her family owns Little Dipper Dairy, which operates out of the Port of Columbia's artisan food market at the station. Foodstock is a fun and foodie tribute to the legendary concert that took place decades ago in Woodstock, New York. Attendees to Saturday's event experienced a farmer's market, live music, fresh foods and concessions, a bounce house, and good company. Those feeling groovy – and crafty – met with Walker in her booth to make their own tie dye shirts.
