Apr. 27

Theft of prescription pain medications from E. Patit Avenue; unknown suspect. Caller on E. Richmond Avenue reporting a suspicious male taking photos possibly of the caller; person was actually taking photos of city code violations. Deputies took a juvenile male into custody on a warrant.

Deputy assisted an individual in an electric wheelchair that stopped working.

Apr. 29

Prescription medication reported taken from residence on S. 1st Street. Walla Walla driver Mara Pennington, 24, cited near milepost 369 on Highway 12 on suspicion of driving with a suspended license. Burglary reported on Kerckhoff Lane; someone attempted to remove a wood stove from the shop.

Apr. 30

Vandalism reported on S. 3rd Street on school district grounds; reportedly a juvenile broke a window but did not appear to be intentional. Abandoned vehicle tagged for removal on E. Tremont Street. Theft of a long board from a porch on S. 1st Street. Suspicious circumstances; deputy found the door to a golf cart shed at the golf course open.

May 1

Resident on E. Main Street found knives in their back lot; deputy took property for safe keeping. Caller requesting deputy at the school to speak with a child about making threats. Theft of fuel; employee at Texaco reported a gas drive off by a blue Ford Explorer, which deputies were unable to locate. Possible stolen cell phone purchased from a private party in Walla Walla; referred to Walla Walla Police Department.

May 2

Pasco driver Filomeno Soto, 27, cited near milepost 20 on Tucannon Road on suspicion of driving with a suspended license. Report of a semi-truck high centered on Highway 12 near Huntsville; vehicle was gone upon deputy arrival.
