WAITSBURG – The City of Waitsburg has extended the deadline for applications for Waitsburg City Pool lifeguards and a pool manager through April 30. Interested parties should contact Kelly Steinhoff at city hall for an application and to learn how to proceed with lifeguard certification. Call 337-6371.

The Prescott Pool is also in need of lifeguards. Pool manager Yvonne Jackson is working to put together a certification class which she anticipates will cost $150 to $175, or $45 for those needing recertification. Anyone seeking certification for either pool, or wishing to apply to the Prescott pool, should contact Jackson at prescottparkrec@gmail.com.
