Clean Up Dayton Volunteers Wanted

DAYTON – The Dayton Development Task Force is looking for volunteers to help with a Community Spring Cleanup this Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. until noon. Volunteers should bring family and friends, gloves, rakes, shovels, clippers, garbage bags, brooms, blowers, weedeaters, and other cleanup tools to the Caboose Park, next to the Historic Depot. From there, volunteers will divide into teams to work in various locations – parks, public landscaped areas, and Main Street – to spruce up town in preparation for the spring and summer tourism season. After the work is done, volunteers may attend a free hot dog feed on the Depot courtyard provided by the Kiwanis Club. For more information, contact Lael Loyd at (509) 382-2124 or Jennie Dickinson at (509) 382-2577.
