Lanning Wins TJ at Pendleton Meet

WP Senior takes second in LJ, 300m hurdles; Adams finishes high in four events

PENDLETON – WP senior Owen Lanning had a stellar day at the Buck Track Classic meet in Pendleton last week, taking first place in the triple jump and second in the long jump and 300 meter hurdles. Lanning was also fourth in the 110 meter hurdles.

The large meet here included teams from fifteen northeast Oregon schools, from 1A to 5A, as well as three 2B schools (WP, College Place and Walla Walla Valley Academy), and one 1A school (Columbia-Burbank) from Washington.
