Big comeback in first game leads to walk-off win, 12-11; Dayton falls 15-10 in second game

DAYTON – The Dayton softball team scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh and final inning to cap a big comeback and beat Colton in the first game of a Saturday double-header, 12-11.

After giving up nine runs in the first two innings, the Dayton girls chipped away at the Colton lead, scoring two runs in each of the first three innings and one run each in the fourth and sixth. Trailing 11-8 going into the bottom of the seventh, Dayton got the runs they needed.
