CHENEY – WHS senior Luke Gales-Alexenko recently received a $3,000 Presidential Scholarship to Eastern Washington University for the 2015-16 academic year. Alexenko is the son of Larry and Pam Alexenko and plans to major in education. To qualify for the Presidential Scholarsip, students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8 or higher or receive 1250 or higher on the SAT or 28 or higher on the ACT.
