Dayton Cancels Baseball Season

 


DAYTON – On Tuesday, Dayton High School made the decision to cancel its 2015 boys’ baseball season. According to Athletic Director Heather Clarys, the difficult decision was made because too few boys turned out to field a team.

According to school sources, only eight boys turned out for the first practice, including four 8th-graders. Between 12 and 14 players would be needed to keep the season going.
