Local families and friends celebrate New Year's Eve at the second annual First Night Celebration on Dec. 31 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds Youth Building. The event, sponsored by the Coalition for Youth and Families and Columbia County Health Services, provides free food, games, music, a light show, a photo booth, door prizes, and beach ball drop at "East Coast Midnight." The youth building was packed with dozens of attendees this year for the festivities.
