DAYTON - The Dayton Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Brix & Brew Festival and Benefit Auction on March 14. The dinner and auction will be held at Run­ning T Ranch, eight miles south of Dayton on North Touchet Road.

The beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres social, along with silent auction, begins at 5:30 p.m. The live auction gets underway at 7.

This is the Chamber's biggest fundraiser of the year. Auction items include a 3 day, 2 night trip to San Francisco, jewelry, original artwork, magnums of spe­cial wine and much more. A live auction package can be downloaded at the Cham­ber's website at http://www.his­toricdayton.com.

Tickets for the evening are $30, which includes food, drinks and collectible glass. Transportation from Dayton is available, provided by Co­lumbia County Transporta­tion for $3. Buses will depart the Transportation office at 507 W. Cameron St. begin­ning at 5 p.m. Buses will return several times during the evening.
