LADY ‘DAWGS TAKE MATCH OVER MAC-HI IN THREE

DAYTON - The Lady 'Dawgs took home a straight-set win against the Mac-Hi Pioneers on the Sept. 18th, scoring 25-21, 25-9 and 25-17. "We started out a little slow and Mac-Hi played very aggressively in the first game, picking up everything we sent over. They also scored a lot of points from our unforced errors," said Bulldog coach Shannon Turner. She said her team moved well on the court and began hitting better in the second and third sets.

Lexi Ramirez served a perfect 15/15 service with 2 aces, 12 assists and 6 digs. Jenna Phillips served a perfect 13 for 13 with 8 kills and 13 digs. Mia Becker served 14/16 with 3 aces and 11 digs and Josilyn Fullerton served 9/10 with 7 kills, 7 assists and 3 digs. Sarah Phillips played a strong defense with 15 digs; she served 7/8 and had 2 kills. Madison Mings served 8/10 with 4 kills and 12 digs. Bryeana Myrick dished out 4 kills and 3 blocks while Taylor Frame made 4 digs.

"This was a good win for us," said Turner.
