Tigers Win Big Against Pomeroy

PRESCOTT - The Waitsburg-Prescott Tigers baseball team put up six big runs in the third inning in their home game against Pomeroy on their way to a dominating 11-1 win on Tuesday, April 25.

The Tigers broke up a 1-1 tie in the inning, as Kyle Gradwohl and Jacob Dunn each pounded tworun doubles in the inning. Gradwohl had three hits for the game, and Chance Leroue, Mike Grant, Dunn and Chad Pearson each had two.

Tiger pitching dominated the Pomeroy batters, holding the Pirates to only two hits.

The Tigers are now take a 4-4 record into this week's play, as they face Weston-McEwen in Athena on Wednesday, and Dayton at home on Saturday.
