Dayton Boys Fall to River View, 62-48

FINLEY – The Dayton Boys' basketball team led at halftime on the road against River View on Dec. 6, but got blown out in the third quarter and took the loss, 62-48.

Tanner Bren had an outstanding game, notching 18 points, including two three-pointers. He also had four steals for the game.

The Bulldogs had a strong first half, and took a 29-26 lead into halftime. But River View got hot in the third quarter and outscored Dayton, 18-6 in that frame, before cruising to the win.

"Our defense in the first half was solid," said Dayton coach Will Hutchens. "We really tried to get into the passing...
