WAITSBURG – The Prescott Tiger boys overcame a 24-19 halftime deficit to overpower Waitsburg in the second half and take a league win on Feb. 2, 58-53.

The Tigers outscored the Cardinals 21-12 in the third quarter and held on for the victory.

A torrid Jose Gonzales had 30 points for Prescott, while teammate Travis Crockett added 16.

Jacob Dunn led the Cardinals with 17 points. Jason Carter had 12 and Kyle Gradwohl had 11.
