Matley Book Reading

PRESCOTT – Prescott singer, songwriter, and poet, Sue Matley, will read from her new novel at two branches of the Walla Walla County Rural Library District. On Oct. 15 she will read at the Prescott branch (103 S. D St., Prescott) and on Oct. 16, she will read at the Plaza Way branch (1640 Plaza Way, Walla Walla). Her husband Bruce “Nevada Slim” will join her to provide colorful commentary. Both presentations are at 6 p.m.

Matley’s first published book, Small-g City, is a science fiction novella set in Seattle. Matley will be available to sign books and will have copies for sale at both events.

“The book promises to be as funny and engaging as Matley herself and the readings are sure to be a good time,” said branch supervisor Amy Rosenberg.
